Happy Holidays

On behalf of myself and all the education leaders that make up Long Island Teachers, we want to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas, a belated Happy Hanukkah, and a Happy and Prosperous New Year. Our holiday ad this year says so much. We talk about being grateful for the many things we may all take for granted. One of those things is our commonality in having some of the best public schools in the country. We also highlight in our holiday ad that even though there is much strife taking place in our nation today – we must remain positive and keep teaching! We have much work to do in 2019 when it comes to defending our students and public education, but in the meantime join us in taking a breather and enjoy the holiday season with the ones you love.
