As early as kindergarten, educators across Long Island share stories of the life legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. As we question the issues of racism at all levels here on our beautiful island, education is one answer to address inequality. Teachers of color can make an impact, both in and out of the classroom, so consider becoming a teacher to help carry on Dr. King's legacy.
