There's no democratic party way to teach a class or a republican party method for instruction. When teaching civic involvement, there's only an American way to be part of the larger solution to preserve the promise that democracy delivers. As educators, we provide students with a model of the importance of character and community. So vote, be the change this November and show your children first-hand how democracy works. Long Island Teachers, teacher leaders in the community.
