I am happy to announce that 98% of school budgets across New York passed this year, while on Long Island 123 of the 124 passed. Additionally, 29 New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) members were elected to school boards statewide. Thank you to everyone who came out and voted to support public education. Your support will continue to allow our teachers and support staff to educate the next generation with the resources that they need.
