We are thrilled to announce that Rockville Centre’s South Side Mock Trial Club has won their first ever live competition at the Nassau County Supreme Court! This is a significant achievement for the club, and we couldn’t be prouder of their dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence.
The competition provided a valuable opportunity for students to apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world setting, arguing a case in front of a judge and competing against other high school teams. It also allowed the students to gain valuable insights into the legal profession and the workings of the justice system.
The South Side Mock Trial Club has been a dynamic and active organization at the school, providing students with opportunities to develop their critical thinking, public speaking, and argumentation skills.
