In celebration of Black History Month in February, we were thrilled to hear that students in the Westbury and Amityville school districts are making a name for themselves as successful young entrepreneurs. Newsday recently featured several students who have started their own businesses and are making a positive impact in their communities.
These students demonstrate a remarkable level of creativity, initiative, and drive. From baking and selling custom cakes to creating and selling handmade jewelry, their businesses are a testament to their hard work and ingenuity. Not only are these students gaining valuable experience in business and entrepreneurship, but they are also giving back to their communities by donating a portion of their profits to charity.
We are proud to have such talented and ambitious young people in our school districts. We applaud their efforts and look forward to seeing what the future holds for these young entrepreneurs. With their determination and passion, we have no doubt that they will continue to achieve great things.
