On Monday, January 17th we remember and honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
We honor Dr. King because of his dedication to the idea that our nation would uphold our initial promise that all men and women are created equal. While we still have a long way to go to achieve this, we can see the fruits of his work everyday.
As we celebrate this great man, let us continue his fight for equality and remember “The arc of the moral universe bends towards justice.” As activists and advocates for justice, our efforts play an important role in bending that arc.
