Great teachers are born with the passion to teach, with a fundamental need to pass on something of value. As teachers, we inspire students to learn and dream of achieving great things.
We must continue to be the ones to define excellence in our profession and to continue to advocate for our students, our schools, and our profession.
This week the National Education Association is encouraging everyone to #ThankaTeacher. Whether it was your favorite gym teacher or the science teacher who helped you fall in love with biology, say thank you and let them know how they impacted your life.
